Douglas Adams, Jr (1969-2020)

Douglas L. Adams, Jr. practiced law in Kansas from 1993 until his death in 2020. He was also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit. A graduate of Kansas University School of Law in 1993, Doug originally served as a State Public Defender from 1994 to 1996. Thereafter, in 1996, he joined Richard Ney at the time of this law firm’s formation. Doug was an active litigator who has spent his career dedicated to a relentless pursuit of liberty and fairness for individuals who have had the misfortune of being accused of crimes. Doug had a strong reputation for getting the best possible result in every case he handled.
